Monday | 3 August 2026| The Walvis Bay Corridor Group (WBCG) and the Namibia Trade Forum (NTF) held a productive courtesy engagement at the WBCG Head Office, with the NTF delegation led by Acting Chief Executive Officer Rodney !Hoaeb. The meeting was attended by WBCG Acting Chief Executive Officer Edward Shivute and the WBCG Management Team.
The engagement provided an opportunity for both institutions to share insights into their respective mandates and strategic priorities, while exploring areas of mutual interest to enhance Namibia’s transport and logistics sector. Discussions focused on WBCG and NTF’s role in trade facilitation, corridor development, and regional connectivity, as well as opportunities to strengthen collaboration in support of a more efficient, competitive, and sustainable transport and logistics industry.
Together, WBCG and NTF reaffirmed their commitment to building stronger partnerships that drive trade, economic growth and regional integration.
