WBCG hosts Logistics Hub Forum in Walvis Bay

On 28 September 2022, the WBCG successfully hosted the Logistics Hub Forum at the Atlantic Hotel in Walvis Bay. The aim of the forum was to provide an update on the progress of the logistics hub project and address the issues at hand. The WBCG presented a detailed overview on the current status of the implementation strategies and plans outlined in Namibia’s Logistics Hub Master Plan. The group also gave an overview on areas to be attended to in future such as capacity building, strategic marketing, integrated border management, road infrastructure, green logistics, rail and aviation, amongst others.

The hybrid meeting was well attended by key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The WBCG would like to thank the JICA Expert Team in particular for their ongoing technical support and guidance.
